After our 4 day trip to the Amazon, we went to the Galapagos Islands for an 8 day “Island Hopping Tour” that we booked last minute. Without doubt, it is the highlight of our tour so far.
The Galapagos Islands are INCREDIBLE! The animals have no fear of humans, which enables you to get up close and personal!
We saw blue footed boobies, marine and land iguanas, Galapagos penguins, frigate birds, flamingos, giant tortoises, green turtles, sea lions, dolphins, white tipped reef sharks, humpback whales and my personal favourite – sea horses!
